Pablo César is an Argentine filmmaker known for his avant-garde and experimental films that often explore themes of culture, identity, and spirituality. He is recognized for pioneering collaborations with African countries, making him one of the first directors to bring African-Argentine co-productions to international audiences.
César’s films, such as “Aphrodite, the Garden of the Perfumes” and “Fifth Gospel, according to Mark”, are characterized by their poetic visuals, mystical storytelling, and deep philosophical undertones.
